As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare facilities, helping to deter security-related incidents while promoting a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to engage directly with people and support a secure environment through teamwork and integrity-driven service.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or hazards to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and communicating with relevant parties as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
