As a Security Guard - Telecom Facility Patrol in Carleton, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and address potential concerns.
  • Monitor the environment and report any unusual activities or security-related issues as observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.
  • Document and communicate any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
