As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Gate in Monroe, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional at this manufacturing and industrial location, you will focus on access control responsibilities, monitoring entry and exit points and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This primarily driving post allows you to remain visible throughout the site, interact with personnel, and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork in a people-first environment.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel and visitors entering the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Assist in implementing site-specific access control procedures to help maintain authorized entry and exit.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and directing individuals as needed within the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Document observations and report any security-related incidents or irregularities to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
• Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and collaborating with on-site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
