As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver Full-Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, allowing you to interact with the public and support a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, loss prevention issues, and other security-related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with store personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
