What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and communication skills.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, checking for any unusual activity or potential threats.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and/or customers.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities thoroughly and accurately in daily reports and logs.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or critical situations.
  • Follow all protocols for the handling, use, and storage of assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
