As a Security Officer – Hospital Unarmed Response in Monroeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or issues as they arise.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations are required for work in hospital environments.
• Ability to work in hospital morgue environments is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
