What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the residential community.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, property damage, or suspicious activity to the appropriate parties.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, and property management as needed.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits within the residential location.
  • Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
