As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management to maintain a secure environment for clients, tenants, and visitors.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response efforts by guiding visitors and staff during incidents and following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
