What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utilities facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or visitors to address questions or situations as they arise.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of patrols, incidents, and any security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions in the environment, adapting patrol routes or focus as needed based on site activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
