As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated shelter locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence to those in need. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as they arise, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the shelter environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to assist in helping to deter potential disturbances or unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with shelter staff and/or residents to address concerns and promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
