What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disturbances. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual activity, to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with controlling access to the healthcare facility, verifying credentials, and monitoring entrances and exits as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
