As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance and support as needed.
• Document and report incidents and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to developing situations in a retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
