As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Mall Driver in Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for customers and staff. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, as you will be responsible for routine vehicle patrols and responding promptly to incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft and/or disturbances within the retail environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to situations that may require the presence of an armed security professional.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
