What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor and report on any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location.
  • Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter potential disturbances and foster a sense of security-related awareness among residents.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols in accordance with company and client guidelines.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required, supporting the overall security-related objectives of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
