As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine armed patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise on site.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
  • Follow all protocols for handling and carrying a firearm in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
  • Participate in site-specific training and ongoing professional development related to healthcare security protocols and emergency response.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
