As a Security Guard - Facility Patrol Driver in Cleveland, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a vibrant food and beverage location. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication while embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, both indoors and outdoors, to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the facility, communicating clearly with both Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
  • Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Support the enforcement of location-specific rules and regulations, providing guidance to visitors and staff as needed.
  • Participate in emergency response activities, following established protocols and cooperating with local authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
