As a Security Guard - Retail Driving Patrol FT in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a retail location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any security-related concerns.
• Observe entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to assist in maintaining a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
• Document and report any suspicious behavior, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control procedures and/or visitor management as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal leadership to address any site-specific security-related needs or concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
