As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols, monitoring assigned areas, and performing screening duties such as x-ray screening. What You'll Do:

• Carry out screening procedures for individuals entering and/or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and protocols.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions and assisting individuals as they move through screening processes.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with Allied Universal training and site guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation related to screening activities and incidents.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas by monitoring entry and exit points.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations and emergency response activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
