As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Desk in Buford, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout your shift, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. This post requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be required to drive as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, addressing inquiries and assisting visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, working closely with site personnel and first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
