What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors, contractors, and employees as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or violations of policies to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • X‐Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
