What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, while responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors within a healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents, following protocols specific to a healthcare location.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification when required, and assisting with visitor management.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and first responders as needed, providing assistance and/or information.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of security-related incidents, patrols, and other assigned duties for Allied Universal and client records.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
  • Vaccines are required for work in hospital settings.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
