As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Unit in Lumberton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual situations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of all persons on site.
• Document observations and incidents thoroughly and accurately, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Work closely with local staff and law enforcement as required, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific procedures and protocols, adapting to changing environments and conditions as required.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines, responding appropriately to situations where armed intervention is necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
