As a Security Officer - Access Entry Specialist in Porterville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the food and beverage location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and/or site management.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide support to employees and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
