As a Security Officer - Healthcare Dispatch in Palm Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment by monitoring activity, coordinating responses, and communicating vital information to on-site teams. Your presence and professionalism will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving duties as part of your post. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and coordinate communication between on-site personnel, emergency responders, and/or external agencies using dispatch systems in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely information and direction to appropriate parties.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications as required by site-specific policies.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring incoming calls and requests for entry, verifying credentials, and directing individuals as needed.
  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by addressing inquiries and relaying information in accordance with location procedures.
  • Support Allied Universal team members by relaying security-related information and updates to maintain awareness across the site.
  • Assist in coordinating emergency response activities and communicating relevant information to stakeholders during incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
