As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will also engage with individuals on-site, respond to situations as they arise, and communicate clearly with both the property team and Allied Universal. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted behaviors and/or security-related incidents.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, visitors, and property management as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents and/or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and property staff to maintain a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
