Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your responsibilities. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and other security-related tasks. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.85 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age and must have a valid driver's license

Armed Guard License required

What You'll Do:

  • Provide professional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and support controlled access to the location.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the food and beverage production environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
  • Carry and maintain assigned arms in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, ensuring proper handling at all times.
  • Support Allied Universal leadership and site management by following all post orders and maintaining a strong security-related presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
