As a Security Officer - Media Unarmed Patrol in Playa Vista, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout your shifts. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site management.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters within the location.
• Remain visible and approachable to employees and visitors, providing assistance and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
