As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires both carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork in a people-first environment.

What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal at financial institution locations.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, maintaining clear communication during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Operate and maintain any assigned security-related equipment, including communication devices and access control systems.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those specific to armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
