What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, verifying credentials and reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to tenants, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
