As a Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout the facility. You will play a key role in fostering a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors, all while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as required.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and/or visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related matters encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
