As a Security Officer - Residential Badge Desk in North Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying identification and permissions for residents, guests, and service personnel.
  • Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with questions and directions, while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment for residents and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
