As a Security Guard - Flex Patrol Driver in Watertown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to various situations, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to meet driving requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the overall security-related operations at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment, including the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity, reporting any concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points, and interacting with visitors, employees, and contractors as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
