As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points to the location, verifying credentials and controlling entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles as per site-specific policies.
• Assist in implementing and following security-related procedures tailored to the chemical and petrochemical environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal and site management.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors, delivering information or assistance as needed while upholding security-related standards.
• Participate in emergency response activities, such as evacuations or drills, as outlined in site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
