As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a logistics and distribution location. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to promote a secure environment, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain order at the logistics and distribution facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including following emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
