In this dynamic role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will play a key part in supporting a secure environment for clients and visitors, while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This is an armed position requiring an armed guard card or license.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when possible.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain a professional presence and provide guidance to visitors and employees as required.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and site-specific protocols while carrying out assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
