What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with directions, information, and general support as needed.
  • Work in various environments and conditions typical of manufacturing and industrial locations, adapting to site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
