As a Security Officer - Resort Patrol in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols of the property, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to guests and staff. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the hotel or resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering support as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to maintain a secure environment for guests, staff, and visitors.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Assist hotel or resort staff and guests with security-related concerns, providing information and guidance as needed.
  • Remain alert to unusual activity or situations that may require a response, and communicate promptly with appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
