Job Description


As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to excellent customer service and clear communication will support a positive experience for everyone on site. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related concerns as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel, resort grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential security-related issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist guests, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions, maintaining a professional and approachable presence throughout the location.
  • Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to support a welcoming and secure environment for everyone on the premises.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
