As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and communication. If you meet the driving requirements, this role may also involve responsibilities that require a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control protocols for personnel and visitors at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches, following established guidelines for financial institutions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and/or suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to address security-related concerns and support overall operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
