As a Security Officer – Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Canonsburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain order. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and check identification as required to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations and/or lockdowns as needed in a healthcare setting.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related incidents, patrols, and other relevant activities as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have all required hospital vaccines.
• Must be able to work in hospital morgue areas.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
