As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol Bike in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to the public. This driving post involves conducting routine patrols and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or property damage during patrols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of incidents and daily activities.
• Support Allied Universal management with site-specific tasks and communication as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to operate a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
