As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Team in Brookfield, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a vibrant retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to the public. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including the retail and mall areas, as well as the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or conditions to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, and helping to direct foot traffic.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including providing information and assistance to emergency responders.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
