As a Armed Security Guard - Healthcare Site in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to support a secure environment, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and authorization of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required by site protocols, maintaining composure and professionalism during high-pressure situations.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and other documentation as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
