As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine vehicle patrols and maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post, where your focus will be on providing outstanding customer service, supporting a welcoming environment, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to management and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits during patrols to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Assist visitors and tenants by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
