As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors within the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the healthcare facility.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols inside the healthcare facility and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unusual circumstances, to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain an orderly environment within the healthcare setting.
  • Provide support during emergency situations, following established protocols and communicating with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports related to daily activities, incidents, and/or observations while on patrol.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
