As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. What You'll Do:

• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)

• Transport deceased patients to the morgue, as needed

• Assist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency room

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or escorting individuals as needed within the healthcare location.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, site staff, and/or emergency responders as required.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
