As a Security Professional - Retail Mall Patrol in West Nyack, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the property and interact with guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the retail or mall location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activities within the location.
• Document security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address concerns and uphold site-specific policies.
• Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
