As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Specialist in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with the public, assist visitors, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our core values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the retail or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate observations or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as appropriate.
• Assist with access control, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
• Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations, addressing violations in accordance with established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols or while on post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
