You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor the premises for any unusual activity and report findings to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
  • Assist with access control measures, verifying identification and/or credentials as needed for entry to restricted areas within the location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during assigned shifts according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support the overall security-related objectives of the client location by maintaining a visible presence and providing assistance to staff and patrons as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
