What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary, following site-specific procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
  • Adhere to all Allied Universal and client policies, procedures, and standards while performing duties at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
